The kitchen always seems to be the hub of any home. It's where the family gathers, especially here in the eastern provinces of Canada. It's a busy place with family and friends coming and going at any given moment. The space in front of the refrigerator is usually occupied by a teenager holding the door open to peer inside and wonder 'what's to eat?' It's the place where bake sales take shape and the command centre of any dinner party. Where to begin with getting it ready to present to the market?
